42-Year-Old Rider Dies in Deadly Motorcycle Accident on 5 Freeway

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 27, 2021) – William Seidel Jr., 42, of Stevenson Ranch, died in a motorcycle accident on 5 Freeway early Sunday morning.

The collision happened about 5:24 a.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway, just north of the Foothill Freeway.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Seidel was traveling northbound on the highway in a 2000 Honda CBR 600 when he collided with a pickup truck while changing lanes.

Seidel was ejected from the motorbike as a result of the incident and was hit by passing automobiles.

Responding officers on the scene pronounced Seidel dead at the scene.

The CHP urged anyone with information about the crash to call them at 661-600-1600.
