Pedestrian Dies in Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on Oro Dam Boulevard
OROVILLE, CA (September 15, 2021) – An unknown woman lost her life Wednesday morning following a pedestrian hit-and-run crash on Oro Dam Boulevard.
The accident happened around 6:22 a.m. in the area of Oro Dam Boulevard and 14th Street.
As per CHP, they received reports of a Green Prius that struck and killed a woman in the area, although the events that led up to the crash are still unknown.
Responding officers pronounced the woman dead at the scene. At this time, authorities are withholding her identity.
On the other hand, medical crews checked the driver and stated that the driver did not sustain any injuries.
Authorities do not currently believe that drugs or alcohol were factors. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
