Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Collision Kills 50-Year-Old Steven Pendley along the Harbor Freeway

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 15, 2021) – Tuesday morning, Steven Pendley lost his life after being struck by two separate vehicles on the Harbor (110) Freeway.

At this time, the events leading up to the accident remain unclear, it is know that the fatal accident occurred on the connecting road to Harbor Freeway near West Third Street.

However, officers reported that Pendley was struck around 5:16 a.m. by an unknown vehicle as well as a passing semi-truck.

Upon arrival, authorities declared Steven Pendley dead on the scene.

Furthermore, the first vehicle fled the scene while the truck stayed to cooperate with authorities.

The surrounding area was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties, but the road has since reopened.
