As restrictions in L.A. begin to loosen, getting to go out again is a sweet sensation. Sugar Rush, a new open-air photo-op experience aims to take the feeling to another level with a Willy Wonka-like walk-through in Woodland Hills. The 50,000+ square foot amusement offers a limited-capacity confection filled with colorful installations, giant props, eye-catching displays, performances, tunnels, and more. Created by Experiential Supply (the team behind Hauntoween LA and WonderLAnd drive-throughs last year), Sugar Rush ventured outside of the car for this one but safety remains the highest priority.
“The drive-thrus have been a lot of fun and were necessary last year during the holidays,” Experiential Supply CEO Jasen Smith states in press materials. “Now we feel it is time to welcome families into our world on foot to take in the rich immersive environments we are building. The vast walking path we are creating naturally makes for a safe, distanced, and intimate experience. ”
Open daily, April 2 – May 2, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Promenade at Westfield Topanga, 6100 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills. Tickets and info at ridesugarrush.com. All photos here courtesy Experiential Supply.
