32-Year-Old Skateboarder Paris Camille Banks Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Tampa Avenue

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 16, 2021) – 32-year-old Paris Camille Banks lost her life Tuesday morning after a hit-and-run driver struck her on Tampa Avenue in Los Angeles.

The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. September 14, on Tampa Avenue near West Oxnard Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Banks was skateboarding in Tarzana when she was struck and killed by a vehicle that fled the scene after the collision.

Responding emergency crews pronounced Banks dead at the scene.

Authorities are searching for the vehicle, described as a Toyota Avalon with damage to the front end of the vehicle. Officers said the Toyota driver fled the scene heading south on Tampa Avenue.
