Pedestrian vs. Auto Collision Took the Life of 39-Year-Old Erik Berg

MALIBU, CA (September 20, 2021) Last Friday Erik Berg, 39, was identified as the vicim of a pedestrian accident on Pacific Coast Highway.

The accident occurred around 6:00 a.m., when police received reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at the 22000 block of PCH.

According to investigators, the circumstances and factors leading up to the collision are still unknown. However, it is known that Berg was attempting to cross the roadway when he was fatally struck by a passing vehicle.

Despite efforts to save his life, Berg was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other injuries reported.

Ultimately the driver stopped to cooperate with the investigation.

Furthermore, Malibu officials have not released any further information regarding the collision.

Additionally, an active investigation is underway.
