Sutter County Truck Accident Kills 24-Year-Old Varinder Singh
SUTTER COUNTY, CA (August 23, 2021) – Authorities identified Varinder Singh as the victim of a truck accident last Wednesday in Sutter County.
Initially, the incident occurred around 7:45 A.M. where 35-year-old Sergio Garcia Ochoa worked on a peach tree shaker on Carlson Road, north of O’Banion Road.
At the time, Singh and his other co-worker were standing between the work truck and a trailer.
Afterwards, Ochoa drove away in a 2009 Ford F-550 truck, hitting Singh in the process.
Tragically, 24-year-old Varinder Singh died due to major blunt-force injuries.
The CHP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal truck accident.
