1 Killed in 4-Vehicle Collision on Mountain Gate Drive
CORONA, CA (July 16, 2021) – Gregory Gibbons, 25, of Corona, lost his life Saturday afternoon following a traffic accident on Lincoln Avenue.
The collision occurred around 12:29 p.m., at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Mountain Gate Drive.
Authorities said four vehicles, including a blue Honda Civic, collided at the Corona intersection under unknown circumstances.
Paramedics took the driver of the Honda, Gibbons, to Regional Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
Meanwhile, rescuers rushed two other people to the hospital with injuries that were not specified. In addition, their identities are being withheld until their family is properly notified.
At this time, CHP investigators are now looking into the possible cause of the crash. Alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash, officers said.
