Crash on 215 Freeway Claims the Life of One Rider
COLTON, CA (November 15, 2021) – Early Wednesday evening, a motorcyclist was pronounced dead after a crash on 215 Freeway.
California Highway Patrol said the motorcyclist was fatally injured after being ejected from their bike around 6:30 p.m.
They traveling south on the 215, north of Barton Road, when traffic began to slow down. The rider applied the brakes and went into an out-of-control skid.
Emergency crews arrived, and despite life-saving efforts, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene.
Moreover, authorities closed the roadway for an extended period of time for cleanup and preliminary investigations.
Although, their identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
Additionally, law enforcement does not suspect drugs or alcohol played a role in the fatal motorcycle crash on 215 Freeway.
