Derek Post Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Kolb Road [Tucson, AZ]

57-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Fatal Accident on Kenyon Drive

TUCSON, AZ (July 16, 2021) – Sunday night, 57-year-old Derek Bruce Post, was killed in a deadly motorcycle crash in Tucson.

The crash took place shortly before 10:57 p.m., at the intersection of Kolb Road and Kenyon Drive, as stated by the report.

According to the authorities, Post was heading south on Kolb Road when he collided with the passenger side of a pickup that was turning left onto Kenyon Drive.

Tucson Fire Department personnel rendered first aid; however, Post succumbed to his injuries and died on scene.

The pickup truck’s driver remained on scene and was not intoxicated at the time of the accident, according to police.

The driver’s failure to yield, as well as the motorcyclist’s excessive speed were both contributing causes in the crash, according to investigators. At this time, no charges or citations have been filed.
