Los Angeles Public Health launched another incentive-based sweepstakes, offering some vaccinated residents a chance to win Kings or Galaxy season tickets.
L.A. County residents who are 18 or older and get COVID-19 vaccine between Friday, May 28 through Thursday, June 3, will be entered in the sweepstakes. From there, two individuals will be selected to win two season tickets for either the Kings or Galaxy 2022 seasons.
“With millions of residents still needing to get vaccinated, the Los Angeles Kings and Los Angeles Galaxy Season Ticket Vaccination Sweepstakes is an exciting opportunity that allows those still not protected to get vaccinated and see the Kings or the Galaxy in action,” L.A. Public Health said in a press release.
Vaccinations must take place at any site run by L.A. County, L.A. City, or St. John’s Well Child and Family clinic.
On Thursday, California launched its own vaccination-based sweepstakes, offering a chance to win up to $1.5 million to already vaccinated Californians.
The giveaway program will also include $50 gift cards for the next 2 million Californians who get vaccinated between May 27 and June 15.
Last weekend, the Hollywood Pantages offered a vaccination incentive of its own, entering people who got vaccinated at their popup site, as well as already vaccinated individuals who showed proof, a chance to win tickets to an upcoming Hamilton show at the theater.
With COVID-19 cases decreasing and vaccination in the state increasing, California plans to reopen the economy on June 15 after nearly 15 months of COVID-19 related restrictions and mandates.
