Cassandra Jenkins Soundtracks Nature: Brooklyn-based singer and songwriter Cassandra Jenkins released her sophomore album in February, An Overview on Phenomenal Nature. That coincided with the single and video (and curiously named) “Ambiguous Norway” — a dreamy, lush little ditty.
In fact, the album sees Jenkins working with Norwegian photographer Ole Brodersen on the island of Lyngør, to tie his images together through music. Quite the ambitious project, but the whole thing is gorgeous. Of the songs on the album, Jenkins said in a statement: “Nothing ever really disappears, it just changes shape.”
