Traffic Crash on Standing Rock Avenue Left Woman Injured
APPLE VALLEY, CA (December 1, 2021) – Paramedics airlifted a woman after a traffic crash on Standing Rock Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
According to the authorities, the incident happened around 2:28 p.m. on Standing Rock Avenue and Japatul Road.
In addition, officials also pointed out that the collision involved a Toyota RAV4 and a four-door Kia sedan.
The CHP stated that the Toyota driver was left trapped and two other occupants injured.
Eventually, Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded at the scene and extricated the victims.
Moreover, officials requested a helicopter to land at the scene and airlift the woman to a trauma center.
Paramedics also transported a total of three people via ground ambulances to St. Mary’s hospital.
Apple Valley Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash.
