Car Accident near Elk Road Left Conrad James Dead
BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 6, 2021) – 38-year-old Conrad James Sivits lost his life in a two-vehicle crash on Taft Highway Monday morning.
The collision happened around 9:14 a.m. November 29, in westbound Taft Highway near Elk Road.
According to CHP, Sivits was driving a pick-up truck when, for unclear reasons, veered into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with a dump truck.
Responding officers declared Sivits dead at the scene. However, officials have no information of the condition of the other driver.
At the moment, police look at the possible cause of Sivits got distracted by his cellphone.
