Injuries Reported after Auto Collision near Slater Road
FERNDALE, WA (November 30, 2021) – One person was transported to a local hospital after a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 5.
According to reports, multiple vehicles collided on the highway near the Slater Road on-ramp under unknown circumstances.
Upon arrival, emergency crews transported one victim to a nearby hospital for further treatment of a broken leg. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.
Officers closed down the southbound on-ramp from Slater Road onto Interstate 5 during preliminary duties. However, the road has since reopened to traffic.
Further circumstances leading up to the crash are still unclear. An active investigation to determine more information is still underway.
