Joshua Tree National Park Crash Left One Fatality, 2 other people Injured
JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK (October 7, 2021) – Police identified the victim of a fatal crash on Rainbow Ridge Rd as Osiris Miceli of Glendora.
The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. near Rainbow Ridge Rd, according to CHP.
Initially, reports stated that 38-year-old Damien Sousa of San Dimas drifted and lost control of his 2004 Ford F-250 for unknown reasons.
As a result, one of the passengers died at the scene and a 27-year-old female passenger sustained minor injuries.
Later on, the coroner’s office identified the deceased passenger as 29-year-old Osiris Rain Miceli.
Paramedics took the other passenger to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment and recovery.
San Diego authorities are investigating the fatal crash in Joshua Tree National Park.
