20-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Collision on Corning Avenue
LADERA COUNTY, CA (September 30, 2021) – Early Tuesday morning, 20-year-old Miles Dean was killed in a pedestrian accident on Slauson Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene around 2:33 a.m., at the intersection of West Slauson and South Corning Avenue.
Per reports, Dean was pronounced dead due to the extent of injuries sustained. However, the events leading up to the crash remain unclear.
The surrounding area on Slauson Avenue was closed during preliminary duties, but has since reopened.
At this time, authorities have not yet released the identity of the driver involved. Although, an active investigation is still underway.
