Borgore Brings the Gorestep to the Academy: Producer, DJ, singer, songwriter, rapper, label head (with Buygore) — Israeli artist Borgore can do it all. The guy has been based right here in Los Angeles for the past decade, he’s the former drummer in a death core band called Shabira and, as you can tell from his name, he loves horror movies. He describes his sound as “gore step,” just to push the theme.
It’s been a while since we saw a new album — that would be 2019’s The Art of Gore. His new single “I Don’t Care” popped up a few days ago and it’s a banger (check it out below). Expect that and more at the Academy this weekend.
