Man Injured after a Motorcycle Crash on I-80 near Bay Bridge
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 20, 2021) – One man sustained injuries Saturday afternoon following a motorcycle crash on Interstate 80.
The crash occurred on September 18, westbound I-80, east of Treasure Island.
California Highway Patrol responded to the scene and located a man lying on the ground, however, it was known how he ended up on the ground.
At this time, officials said the crash involved a motorcycle but they did not expand more. Additionally, authorities did not reveal the extent of the injuries from the crash.
Furthermore, CHP said the crash shut down lanes on the Bay Bridge for several hours for investigation and cleanup.
San Francisco Police continue to investigate the cause of the fatal accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
