One Hurt in Motorcycle Crash on S. Virginia Street
RENO, NV (July 29, 2021) – An unidentified rider sustained life-threatening injuries Saturday night after a motorcycle crash on S. Virginia Street in Reno.
The collision occurred at 9:12 p.m. on South Virginia Street, just south of Peckham Lane.
According to reports, a motorcycle was traveling south on South Virginia Street when a northbound pickup turned left into Reno Town Mall and collided with it.
The truck driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with the police.
According to responding officers, drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash; however, an active investigation is underway.
Furthermore, officials closed the road, but it reopened around 2:30 a.m.
