2 Young Girls Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash
PHELAN, CA (July 30, 2021) – Thursday evening, Ollie Hoffmann and Maggie Hoffmann were killed in a deadly head-on accident on State Route 18.
Firefighters responded to the incident around 6:13 p.m., in the area of Phelan and Hacienda Road, near Johnson Road.
Upon arrival, responders discovered a white Ford Ranger truck and a black 2000 Subaru Impreza. In addition, both vehicles appeared to have major front-end damage and were blocking the roadway.
Medics declared two young girls dead at the scene, 10-year-old Ollie and 14-year-old Maggie.
Meanwhile, paramedics airlifted at least three people with major injuries to trauma centers, and transported two people with minor injuries to a hospital via ambulance.
CHP closed down both directions on State Route 18 until they cleared out the scene completely.
The San Bernardino County Officials are still currently investigating the deadly crash.
