Ledisi Sings Nina Simone: Grammy winning R&B vocalist Ledisi has returned to her jazz roots for new album Ledisi Sings Nina. As the title pretty much spells out, this is the powerhouse singer performing the music of the legendary Nina Simone. Songs include “Feelings Good,” My Baby Just Cares For Me,” “Wild Is The Wind” and “Four Women.”
Even better — Ledisi will be performing her Nina repertoire at the Hollywood Bowl this weekend alongside the LA Philharmonic, with Thomas Wilkins conducting.
