Jonathan Quezada Dies in Car Accident on Interstate 15 [Victorville, CA]

Driver Killed after Crashing into Traffic Barricade on I-15

VICTORVILLE, CA (July 06, 2021) – Saturday night, 30-year-old Jonathan Quezada of Adelanto, was killed in a car accident on Interstate 15.

The tragic accident occurred at the intersection of Monte Vista Road and La Mesa Road around 11:28 p.m. on Saturday, July 3.

Authorities said Quezada was driving a 2012 Ford sedan northbound on Monte Vista Road. For reasons unknown, he failed to stop for the road closure and drove through barricades on the road.

The Ford then collided with a city truck that was responding to a previous accident at the time.

Despite life-saving efforts, Quezada was pronounced dead on scene. No other injuries were reported and it is still unknown if drugs or alcohol were contributing factors.
