Rialto Three-Vehicle Crash Leaves Multiple Fatalities
RIALTO, CA (July 2, 2021) – Monday morning, Guadalupe Noriega, Salvador Lopez, and Lashon Gardner were killed in a crash on Riverside Avenue.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 7:45 a.m., at the 2600 block of South Riverside Avenue.
In addition, a speeding Nissan Altima struck the back of a Dodge Ram pickup. As a result, the two vehicles collided with a box-truck driving on the opposite side of the traffic.
Eventually, the responders arrived at the wreckage and pronounced at least three people dead at the scene.
The three deceased victims were later identified as Guadalupe Noriega, 26, of San Bernardino; Salvador Lopez, 20, of Fontana; and Lashon Gardner, 33, of Barstow.
Meanwhile, paramedics took a passenger of the Nissan to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Additionally, the drivers of the pickup-truck and box-truck remained uninjured.
The Rialto authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the multi-vehicle crash.
