Christina Aguilera Gets Her Phil: Pop powerhouse Christina Aguilera is performing a full concert with an orchestra for the very first time this weekend. In fact, she’s doing it twice, as she performs on Friday and Saturday with the LA Phil.

Maestro Gustavo Dudamel will conduct some of the world’s best musicians through the likes of “Genie in a Bottle” and “Dirty,” and that’s got to be worth seeing. Six Grammys in the bag, but this will be a first for an artist whose vocal prowess is universally admired. How will the chops of a finely tuned philharmonic orchestra mesh with those of a pop & soul diva? Show up and fine out.

Christina Aguilera Gets Her Phil: The events take place at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 16 and Saturday, July 17 at the Hollywood Bowl.
