Coachella and Stagecoach Will Return In 2022, Dates Announced

The Coachella and Stagecoach festivals will return in 2022 after being canceled for two straight years because of the pandemic.

On Tuesday, it was announced announced that Coachella would resume its first 3-day festival on April 15-17 and have its “weekend 2” on April 22-24.  The Stagecoach country music festival will start the following weekend on April 29-May 1.

In 2020, before the pandemic caused an economic shutdown in California, Coachella had its music lineup ready to go with artists Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean headlining the event in Indio, California. Country artists Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood and Eric Church were set to headline Stagecoach.

While the 2022 lineups have not been announced for either festival, the artist flyer is typically released in the January before the event.

Coachella organizers had previously said that purchased passes would still be honored, but that was before the 2021 festival had been postponed and canceled in January.

Registration for advanced tickets to Coachella will take place Friday, June 4 at 10 a.m. PST, while Stagecoach will announce advance ticket options at a later time.
