Arth Bar + Kitchen Comes To Culver City And Cocktails At The Bamboo Room in Westlake Village – Here’s What’s Popping Up

A new addition to Culver City’s little India has arrived downtown. An engineer by trade, owner Mihir Lad has brought on the talents of chef Sagar Ghosh at the modern Indian restaurant Arth Bar + Kitchen. Small plates include a Kolkata Fish Fry, Asian seabass in cilantro parsley marinade served with fries and mustard sauce, the Bombay Burger, Garlic Fries, straight cut fries tossed in Peruvian garlic and herb mix, Sexy Fries, straight cut fries topped with green chutney, tomato gravy, and mayo, Old Monk Drunken Rum Infused Chicken Wings, and of course a classic Butter Chicken as well as plenty of paneer.

Located in the former AR Cucina space, Interior Designer Atithi Prajapati has created a light and contemporary atmosphere mixed with wood tones and touches of India, and features a full bar, chef counter, open kitchen with tandoor ovens in full view, an indoor dining room, and two patios.

The Bamboo Room craft cocktail lounge has opened in Westlake Village, with co-owners, Michelin Star Executive Chef Anthony Alaimo and Jeffrey S. Helfer at the helm. The moody lounge also serves live music alongside classic and signature cocktails like The Prescription (whiskey, french vanilla bean, cinnamon and lemon essence) and The Money Penny (vodka, cucumber, pressed citrus, fresh lemongrass topped with champagne).

Fusion taco shop Tu Madre is taking over L.A.’s smashburger kitchen UNCOOL to create the Quesabirria Burger featuring a classic smashburger, layered with griddled costra-style cheese filled with housemade short rib birria with a rich stew that soaks up the potato bun, and topped with a spicy Jalisco salsa and jalapenos for extra heat. The Quesabirria Burger is available exclusively at UNCOOL, from July 17 – July 31. But … birria fans can get the burger for just $1 Saturday, July 17 – Sunday, July 18 at UNCOOL as long as they’re following @we.are.uncool
