Hit-and-Run Crash on 22nd Street Left 1 Injured
OCEANO, CA (July 29, 2021) – One person sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on 22nd Street in Oceano on Monday afternoon.
The collision happened around 2:58 p.m. July 12, on 22nd Street and Wilmar Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gold SUV drove through a fence before fleeing the scene.
As per the CHP online incident log, officers pursued the suspect. During the pursuit, the SUV collided with a blue minivan, injuring the minivan’s driver.
Officers made contact with the suspect after he stopped at a gas station.
At this time, authorities did not released any information about the parties involved. However, an active investigation is still underway.
