Dodgers Offer Discounted Tickets To Fans In ‘Fully Vaccinated’ Sections

The Los Angeles Dodgers are offering 20% off tickets in their “vaccination zones,” and expanding the number of sections available for fully vaccinated fans.

The Dodgers debuted a vaccination zone on April 24, where attendees were able to sit next to other fans, filling the 166LG and 168LG sections without social distancing.

Those “loge” level seats will still be part of the vaccinated sections when the Dodgers return to play the Seattle Mariners on May 11, but additional sections in the “infield reserve” level will be sectioned off for fully vaccinated fans, as well.

Tickets in the fully vaccinated sections range between $34-$49 and will be available through all nine of the Dodgers’ upcoming game between May 11 and May 20.

Fans in the sections will still be asked to wear masks, unless eating, and neck gaiters, bandanas and masks with ventilation valves will not qualify as proper face coverings.

Either a negative COVID-19 test received within 72 hours of the game, or a proof of vaccination must be shown to be allowed in the stadium. Children between the ages of 2 and 15, who do not yet qualify for vaccinations will have to have a negative COVID-19 test as proof, as well.

The Dodger Stadium guide also defined “fully vaccinated” by the CDC’s guidance of two weeks or more since receiving the second Pfizer or Moderna dose, or two weeks after the Johnson & Johnson single-dose shot.

Dodger Stadium may currently operate at 33% of its maximum capacity, but as Los Angeles County expects to move into the “yellow tier” of reopening on May 5, the stadium may be allowed to increase its seating to 67% capacity.

As of this writing, no other Southern California stadium or or entertainment venue has announced similar vaccination seating.
