Two Teens Killed in Fatal Crash on Striker Avenue

SACRAMENTO, CA (May 25, 2021)Ali Shoker Ali, 18 and Mohammed Mahir Subhi Al Salih, 19, died Friday evening after a fatal crash on Striker Avenue.

At around 7:00 p.m. on May 21, the accident occurred at the intersection of Striker Avenue and National Drive.

According to CHP, a westbound blue Mustang was traveling at high speeds on Striker Avenue when the driver ran a red light and collided with a Malibu.

The Mustang overturned and two rear passengers were ejected from the vehicle as a result of the collision.

Officials identified Ali Shoker Ali and Mohammed Mahir Subhi Al Salih as the Mustang’s rear passengers, and officials pronounced the two dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported the Mustang driver and his front passenger to the hospital with serious injuries. Medics also took three passengers from the Malibu, including a child, to the hospital for treatment.

At this time, authorities currently believe that drugs or alcohol played a role. However, an active investigation is still underway.
