Hit-and-Run Crash on 22nd Street Left One Man Dead

TUCSON, AZ (December 6, 2021) – Tucson police released the description of a vehicle involved in hit-and-run crash on 22nd Street that left one man dead.

The automobile is now described as a dark-colored sedan or hatchback with damage to the hood and windshield, according to police.

Meanwhile, reports say the crash occurred at 22nd Street and Sahuara Avenue.

Witnesses said a car struck a man while crossing the roadway at a crosswalk with the HAWK signal turned on.

Consequently, officers discovered the unconscious victim on the street.

Eventually, after arriving at the hospital, medics pronounced him dead. Authorities are yet to reveal his identity.
