Madera County Wrong-Way Crash Left Walter Cleven Vayson Jr. Dead
MADERA, CA (November 19, 2021) – Authorities identified Walter Cleven Vayson Jr. as the wrong-way driver killed last Sunday.
The deadly crash occurred just after midnight along Avenue 12 near Road 36 ½.
According to the investigators, a Toyota RAV4 collided with a white BMW head-on.
Eventually, the authorities arrived at the scene and declared the driver of the RAV4 dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the occupants of the BMW, including a woman and three children received non-life threatening injuries.
Later on, the authorities identified 50-year-old Walter Cleven Vayson Jr.as the deceased victim from the collision.
The detectives believed that he was driving under the influence when the incident happened.
