Fresno Crash Left Good Samaritan Dead, Woman and 5 Kids Injured
FRESNO, CA (November 29, 2021) – A crash along Piedra Road claimed the life of Rodney Wafford Saturday night.
According to the report, a good Samaritan trying to pull up a truck in a ditch died after a car crashed into his tractor on a dark road.
The fatal incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. near Avocado Lake along Piedra Road and Weldon Avenue.
Meanwhile, the 41-year-old woman and 5 children from the car received injuries but expected to recover.
Later on, the investigators determined that a driver fell into a ditch and went to a neighbor’s house to ask for help.
Afterwards, that neighbor came with a tractor and attempted to extricate the fallen truck.
However, a woman with five children crashed into the tractor and killed the good samaritan.
Later on, the authorities identified the deceased victim as 56-year-old Rodney Wafford.
