Pedestrian Accident on 26th Street Left One Fatality
PHOENIX, AZ (October 20, 2021)– A woman died in a pedestrian accident on 26th Street and McDowell Road Friday night.
According to authorities, the accident happened around 6:30 p.m when the victim was crossing the street.
The incident was reported that an unidentified woman was said to be crossing the street a vehicle heading east struck her.
Consequently, she succumbed to her injuries later at the hospital.
Additionally, the driver of the vehicle had stayed at the scene.
Officials stated that impairment of any sort appears to not have been a factor in the collision.
Furthermore, the roadway was closed for an extended period of time but has since been reopened.
