LAPD Patrol Car Wrecked by Luis Alberto Camberos on PCH
WILMINGTON, CA (October 27, 2021) – Authorities arrested Luis Alberto Camberos after intentionally crashing his vehicle into LAPD patrol car.
Officers responded to a help call just before 5:50 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway and Alameda Street.
Upon arrival, they discovered the officer’s patrol vehicle with major driver side damage.
Later on, the investigators identified the suspect as Luis Alberto Camberos of Wilmington.
According to the authorities, Camberos attempted to flee the scene but was later arrested after being found nearby.
Eventually, Wilmington officials arrested Camberos for suspicions of assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the injured officer to a hospital with minor injuries.
Police are currently investigating the incident.
