54-Year-Old Adam Kao Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Ygnacio Valley
WALNUT CREEK, CA (October 20, 2021) – 54-year-old Adam Kao of Walnut Creek lost his life Friday after a vehicle and pedestrian crash on Ygnacio Valley.
The accident happened around 7:00 a.m. October 15, along the busy area of Oak Grove and Ygnacio Valley roads in Walnut Creek City.
According to the CHP, Kao crashed his vehicle into a sound wall, then he exited the vehicle and went into the street, where a passing vehicle struck him.
Responding officers pronounced Kao dead at the scene from his injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the car that hit Kao remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
At this time, authorities have not released further information. However, an active investigation is underway.
