73-Year-Old Man Killed in Fatal Accident on 36th Avenue

SEATTLE, WA (October 25, 2021)  A 73-year-old man died Thursday afternoon following a fifth-wheel trailer accident on 36th Avenue.

The fatal crash happened around 2:30 p.m., on 36th Avenue in South Beacon Hill.

According to police, a driver attempted to park a fifth-wheel trailer on his property, when he struck a fence.

However, the driver did not notice that a 73-year-old man was trapped between the trailer and the fence.

Medics arrived and attempted to save the 73-year-old man’s life, but he died at the scene.

At this time, investigators said there was no evidence of impairment. Also, the police withheld the name of the victim until next kin is notified.

Seattle Police continue to investigate the main cause of the crash.
