Two-Car Collision on San Pablo Dam Road Resulted in 1 Death and 3 Injuries
EL SOBRANTE, CA (October 7, 2021) – A two-car collision on San Pablo Dam Road late Saturday morning killed one person and wounded three others.
The collision happened on San Pablo Dam Road, north of Bear Creek Road, at 11:15 a.m. on October 2.
According to CHP, a red Toyota Tacoma with one occupant was going northbound and a white Honda Civic with three occupants was traveling southbound.
The Honda driver appeared to have been driving on the shoulder of the road to overtake traffic, lost control of the car, and then went into the northbound lane, colliding with the Toyota.
Responding crews discovered the Honda rear passenger succumbed to his injuries. While the driver and front passenger had mild to serious injuries.
Other medics located the Toyota driver with minor injuries.
However, authorities have not disclosed their identities and current condition at this time.
