Suisun City DUI Driver Crashed into Patrol Vehicle
SUISUN CITY, CA (September 27, 2021) – On Wednesday, authorities arrested Lawrence Hayes Jr. after crashing into a patrol vehicle on Walters Road.
The incident occurred around 12:42 A.M. when an officer conducted a traffic stop at the 300 block of Walters Road.
Afterwards, the officer attempted to go back inside his vehicle when a driver reversed their car and rammed into the officer’s vehicle.
Subsequently, the suspect immediately sped off down Walters Road and initiated a pursuit.
However, the suspect lost control of the vehicle and went off the road at Walters and Air Base Parkway.
The police managed to catch the suspect after attempting to flee on foot. In addition, officers also searched the suspect’s car and found a loaded gun.
Later on, authorities identified the driver as 43-year-old Lawrence Hayes Jr. and booked him to Solano County Jail for DUI and other related charges.
