Stanislaus County Head-On Collision Results in 2 Fatalities
STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA (September 28, 2021) – Early Thursday morning, two drivers were killed in a fiery head-on crash on West Main Avenue.
According to the CHP, the incident occurred around 5:00 a.m., when a sedan and a pickup-truck collided with each other near Jennings Road.
Investigators stated that a 47-year-old Turlock woman was driving a sedan west when she drifted into the oncoming lane. As a result, the woman’s vehicle collided with a pickup-truck driven by a 69-year-old Patterson man.
Due to the impact, the pickup caught fire and eventually became engulfed in flames, according to the authorities.
Shortly after, first responders declared the two drivers dead at the scene.
At this time, the circumstances surrounding the head-on crash on West Main Avenue remains unclear.
