The Forum Among COVID-19 Vaccine Sites Taking Walk-Ins In L.A. County

All eight L.A. County-run COVID-19 vaccine sites will be taking walk-ins through Thursday, including The Forum in Inglewood and The Pomona Fairplex.

Any person 16 and over, working or living in L.A. County, is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and may walk in to one of the sites without an appointment as the county attempts to make the vaccines more accessible to communities.

“After hearing suggestions from our community partners about what is needed to make it easier for L.A. County residents to get vaccinated, since last Thursday, L.A. County has been offering walk-in vaccinations at all of our eight county sites,” L.A. Public Health director Barbara Ferrer said Monday. “This will continue at least through Thursday while our large supply lasts.”

The complete list of county sites offering vaccines without appointments will be: The Forum, The Fairplex, Cal State Northridge, College of the Canyons, The Balboa Sports Complex in Encino, Eugene Obregon park in East L.A.,the L.A. County Office of Education in Downey, and the Palmdale Oasis Park Recreation Center.

The amount of patients they take will depend on supply and those younger than 18 will need a parent or guardian present.

The only other requirement for all patients will be to show a photo ID.

As of April 23, L.A. County administered 7,055,452 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, with 4,425,452 being first doses and 2,580,308 receiving a second dose.
