Officials ID 26-Year-Old Rider Killed in Chain-Reaction Crash on Valley Home Road
OAKDALE, CA (April 8, 2021) – Saturday night, 26-Year-old Nickoles Snow was killed in a chain-reaction crash on Valley Home Road in Oakdale.
The four-vehicle crash happened shortly after 8:40 p.m., March 27, on Valley Home Road.
According to the CHP investigation, Snow was speeding southbound on Valley Home Road on a 2003 Honda motorcycle when, for unknown reasons, he rear-ended a 2017 Ford passenger van.
Moments later, a southbound 2012 Ford pickup driven by Travis W. McRae, 33, collided with the motorcycle. The Ford then went off the road and collided with a power pole.
Tragically, Snow was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, no other injuries were reported at the crash.
